Our Roots
Our story began in 2008 when our founder, Todd, launched Shine N Go, a mobile power washing operation. After building a successful business, he transitioned into commercial detailing, focusing heavily on 18-wheelers, RVs, and metal restoration. Through thousands of hours spent cleaning commercial rigs, Todd identified a critical industry challenge: finding safe, effective products that protect high-end finishes like polished aluminum without dulling, streaking, or whitening the surface.
From Field Work to Formulations
To solve the quality issues of standard off-the-shelf cleaners, Todd partnered with a master chemist specializing in commercial car wash formulations. Together, they developed and shop-tested a targeted line of detailer-grade soaps built specifically for heavy transport and daily vehicles. Originally launched in 2018 under the name Reflections Wash Products, our growing line and expanding community led us to rebrand as Image Wash Products.
Local Manufacturing & Community Focus
Based in Hudsonville, Michigan, we keep our operations and supply chain deeply rooted in our home state. Our wash formulas and shipping boxes are produced in Zeeland, Michigan, while our bottles are sourced from suppliers in Grand Rapids and Rochester Hills. Investing in regional partners ensures top-tier quality control while supporting local businesses.
Scaling into Industrial B2B Solutions
To take our commercial fleet capabilities even further, we founded Image Wash Systems. This dedicated B2B branch supplies high-volume operations with bulk commercial truck wash chemicals in 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes, downstream soap injection systems, and fully automated, touchless wash bays. At the center of this technology is the IQ MAX Automatic Truck Wash System. Powered by advanced 3D vehicle scanning and profiling software, the IQ MAX senses any vehicle's contours in seconds and deploys a custom, touchless wash cycle in under 15 minutes—dramatically cutting labor costs, downtime, and resource waste.
