Dual soap wash system with Suttner ST-164 downstream injector and two soap selector boxes

Please note Image Wash Products will call you after placing your order to get information such as PSI and GPM from your pressure washer prior to building your order. These injectors and foam heads are custom built to work optimally with your exact pressure washer so we will need specifications to proceed with building your system. In order to make full use of these systems a pressure washer with a minimum of 2.5 GPM is required.

Suttner ST-164 Dual Soap Injector

How It Works:

Thanks to..well science these downstream injectors change the pressure in the lines which draw soap from your selected side straight into your gun and comes out diluted at the perfect level every time.

Selecting Your Nozzle:

To do this you will need to select the orifice that is right for your pressure washer based on its PSI and GPM. Once you have your PSI/GPM you can use the chart below to select the right nozzle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What injector does the Dual Soap Wash System use?

The Suttner ST-164 dual downstream injector, which draws from two soap containers and lets you switch between them with one valve.

Can I run Touchless 1 & 2 through it?

Yes. It's built for two-step touchless truck washing: Step 1 and Step 2 each get their own draw line and metering tip.

Foaminator or Hi-Lo wand?

This system uses the Foaminator for thick, clinging foam. If you'd rather apply soap as a low-pressure wet spray, see the Dual Soap Injector System with Hi-Lo Wash Lance.

Does soap run through my pressure washer pump?

No. Downstream injection adds soap after the pump, which helps extend pump life.

What size pressure washer do I need?

At least 2.5 GPM. We call after every order to size the injector, foam nozzle, and rinse tip to your PSI and GPM.

Image Wash Products (Formerly Reflections Wash Products)

Which Image Wash chemicals run through this system?

These setups come from our Soap System Calculator. Enter your pressure washer's PSI and GPM there to get the exact metering tip for each chemical.

Chemical Setup at the injector Polish-safe
Touchless 1 Pre-mix 1:1 Yes
Touchless 2 Pre-mix 1:1 Yes
Touchless Pro 1 Pre-mix 1 part to 1.5 water Yes
Total Brite 2 Pre-mix 1 part to 1.5 water Yes
Touchless Pro 100 Straight Yes

Pink Power Pre-mix 1 part to 2.4 water No
Single Step Straight No
Single Step Lite Straight No
Platinum Wash Straight Yes

Wax Replacement Pre-mix 1 part to 4 water Yes

Not for soap injectors: Bug Remover, Iron Remover, Quick Detailer, Interior Detailer and Tire Shine Pro are sprayer products. Polished Aluminum Cleaner needs a stronger mix (15:1) than an injector delivers.

Soap system FAQs

How do I pick the right metering tip?

Enter your pressure washer's PSI and GPM in our Soap System Calculator. It shows which tip each chemical needs on your machine. Every system is built in Hudsonville, MI and sized to your pressure washer, so call 616.777.7175 if you have questions.

Can I run a touchless 2-step with this system?

Yes. Step 1 and Step 2 each get their own draw line, and you switch between them with the injector valve. Apply Step 1, then Step 2 directly over it, and rinse.

Do I have to pre-mix my soap?

Some chemicals run straight from the drum and some need a pre-mix, as shown in the chart above. Pre-mixing gets concentrates to the right strength for the injector's draw.

Can I run acid brighteners through it?

Alum-Brite Lite and Total Brite 1 appear in the calculator for injector use. They are not polish-safe and contain hydrofluoric acid, so read the SDS, use acid-resistant equipment where called for, and always follow with a high-pH Step 2.
